Proud Employers is committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors to www.proudemployers.org.uk. The following privacy policy sets out how we use and protect the information that you give us.
By registering on Proud Employers, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information under the terms of this policy.
Information that we collect from you
When you register on the site you will be asked to provide certain information about yourself including your name, address, telephone number, email address and details about the type of job you are looking for. If you fill out a profile and upload your CV to the site it will be stored on our server. We may also collect information about your usage of our site, as well as information about you from e-mails or letters you send to us, or from e-mails you send in response to jobs advertised on our site.
How we use your information
Your information will enable us to provide you with access to the relevant parts of the site and to supply our services, which include sending you Stonewall communications, such as the monthly e-bulletin. You can unsubscribe from the e-bulletin at any point by clicking on the unsubscribe option. We will also use the information for analysis so that we can continue to improve and develop the site.
We retain all information and CVs indefinitely. If you change your mind about being contacted in the future you can delete your details via your jobseeker login or contact us.
Disclosure of your information
The information you provide to us will be held on the Stonewall Proud Employers server only.
Where your consent has been given, your information will be shared with members of the Stonewall Diversity Champions, Education Champions and School Champions Programmes. Your information may be accessed by Stonewall staff working within the UK for site administration and service provision purposes. We will not pass your information to third parties to enable them to contact you about their products and services.
Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.
Security
We employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons.
Changes to our privacy policy
Any future changes to this privacy policy will be posted to the site and, where appropriate, through e-mail notification.
