The Saw See Hock Southeast Asia Centre (SEAC) at the LSE is an interdisciplinary academic hub to promote social science research on significant agendas whose implications are not just limited to the region but can also draw a great deal of interest in wider, contemporary contexts across the world.
The Centre is looking for its new Centre Manager who will be able to work with collegiality, flexibility, open mind, and a sense of balance and ethical principle shared by the academic community in diverse, global environments.
The post holder will be responsible for all administrative tasks and provide support to the Centre Director in order to further enhance the research profiles and activities of the Centre. The post holder will report to the Centre Director.
Applicants must have previous relevant administrative experience in a higher education environment or in the public sector. Experience of organising events as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
