This is a challenging role which will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to develop their career in Higher Education.
The post holder will be expected to lead the Department’s communications activities working closely together with academic and professional services staff. They would be able to develop internal communication systems; build a network of relevant press and media contacts in the health sector; and be able to creatively communicate sometimes dry ‘content’ to different audiences.
The post holder will have relevant experience of working in a communications role; ability to seek out engaging stories and insights, and communicate these with grammatical accuracy and with the ability to adapt content and style to a specific audience. They will be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, high attention to detail and the ability to organise and prioritise their own work.
