Position Summary

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Globe Co-ordinator to join our Nestlé Dalston Factory. This is a fabulous opportunity to start or build a career within production, you will support the fill and pack production department with systems, compliance support and data management of the SAP system at site. 

Our Dalston Factory is the home of Nescafe and produces a range of Cappuccino, Aero and Coffee mate products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing our recipes and expanding our leading brands.

A day in the life of a Factory Globe Co-ordinator…

The successful applicant will support and develop a strong understanding of the Globe (SAP) system in order to provide support and coaching to Operations Users. Reporting into the Finance/ Business Continuity Support Manager, key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to the following:


•    Support Operations to ensure systems are accurate and compliant, to achieve and maintain a state of constant audit readiness.
•    Manage the labour Managment system, supporting Operations by driving accuracy in its application & reporting.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
•    Maintaining end user GLOBE transactional knowledge (Inc. external solutions e.g. NSAM (Stoppage Analysis Module), DMO (Digital Manufacturing Operations), DLM (Daily Labour Management), MRT (Tote Bin Management), Palman (Pallet Labelling). The completion of training, coaching and support for Shift Leaders and Autonomous Working Group team members
•    Execute the appropriate daily / weekly health checks to maintain system health- Investigation and rectification of data and system errors.                       
•    Provide focus & support to Operations for the successful implementation any new systems initiatives e.g. DMO, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) & auto-labelling project.                       
•    Upskill themselves to ensure that they are knowledgeable in the most up to date General Instructions/Manufacturing Instructions and adhering to best practice. Recognising potential gaps and improvement opportunities to leverage the benefits of GLOBE (SAP).   
•    Training new users / new starters in the systems and GLOBE (SAP)processes related to their areas, including assisting users with setting up defaults and variants.           
•    Maintaining user competency in BCP (Business Continuity Plan) processes, including the use of Rockwell solution.       
•    First point of contact for users’ system related problems escalating to the Business Continuity Support Manager as appropriate.           
•    Support Production in the completion of regular inventory counts.

What will make you successful

To be considered for this pivotal role within the Dalston Factory, we are looking for candidates who have a passion for production, worked in a fast-paced environment not necessarily only operations but maybe logistics or warehouse and knowledge and experience of the following:

•    Accuracy with a keen eye for detail 
•    Diligence / tenacity
•    Appreciation of compliance 
•    SAP knowledge / aptitude. Would be beneficial but we can train you in this system. 
•    Problem solving skills
•    Influencing / people skills
•    Able to prioritise and support with compliance issues.
