We're looking for Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our DWP Digital community.

Day to day you will:

• Take operational management and monitor suppliers performance and escalate as required.
• Develop and implement the Technology Services Security service improvement plans to address identified issues.
• Act as a major incident manager and escalation point for Technology Services Security related incidents.
• Provide specialist service/solution technical support and assistance to junior staff and users.
• Manage Technology Services Security risks, ensuring appropriate reporting and mitigation plans and actions are implemented.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? 

• Knowledge of Security technologies and solutions - demonstrable experience and technical capability across projects and service lifecycle.
• Experience in managing infrastructure technology across a multi-supplier landscape, both on-premises and in the Cloud.
• Ability to influence design and engineering decisions around infrastructure cyber security.
• Operating Systems - Microsoft Windows Server and Redhat Linux
• Scripted cloud-based infrastructure deployment using terraform
• AWS and Azure including cloud native security solutions such as Guard Duty, Security Hub, Security Centre, Sentinel
• WAF Technologies
