Pearson ERPI has been a part of teachers’ and learners’ lives for 50 years, offering print and digital educational resources for all subject areas, from preschool to university. We are a French-language publisher active primarily in Québec but also in French schools across Canada and among learners of English as a second language.

Reporting to the Sales Manager - Higher Education & ELT, in Quebec, you will be responsible for selling and promoting ESL products for the province of Ontario.

In collaboration with the Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will include selling our printed and digital products to targeted markets, executing the sales action plan strategies, designing and implementing the territory action plan and reporting on trends and market needs.You will be visiting educational clients mainly in the greater Toronto area but also in the province of Ontario. You will provide training to ELT teachers and coordinators on digital products.

Qualifications

You hold a University degree in English literature, modern languages, teaching English language or any other relevant training as well as 3 to 5 years of experience in teaching English.You possess a good understanding of the teacher’s role in knowledge transferring.A sales experience is a definite asset. Previous experience in a language School, College or University is a definite asset. You have excellent verbal and written English skills.French is an asset. You hold a valid driver’s license and live in the Greater Toronto area.

You are known for your active listening, communication and priority setting skills.In addition, you have strong organizational skills, are customer oriented, autonomous and reliable.You have the ability to develop new business opportunities and can work under strict deadlines. You promote values such as integrity and engagement.You have a good knowledge of Word and Excel and possess abilities and interests with new technologies.
