Location: Northampton
Salary:  £17,276 - £18,887 per annum, Core Contributor (Band 3)
37.5 hours per week

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Activity Coordinator with an interest in working with men with a diagnosis of autism, who will undertake the day to day coordination of ward based activities in a forensic psychiatric setting.

Your role with us

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Activities Coordinator for our Medium Secure Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) ward. You will be responsible for building therapeutic relationships with patients to encourage their interest and participation in activities and co-ordinating activities on the ward under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Basic Skill Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Willingness to interact with patients
  • Creative, imaginative, innovative, adaptable and flexible
