Your role with us

We are currently seeking highly motivated activities coordinators for Acorn, Bracken, Brook and Fern.  The role of activity co-ordinator is an important member of the team and we would like the right person to help the team plan meaningful activities with the patients on the ward.

On all four wards we work holistically with the young person using a positive behaviour support framework to enhance their quality of life and reduce the use of restrictive practices. The aim is to support the young person to develop the skills required to transition back into the community.

Our IPU mission is to enhance the young person’s quality of life and well-being and to help develop the skills required to transition to the community.
This is underpinned by a Positive Behaviour Support framework and Person Centred Care with the realisation that every interaction has the potential to be therapeutic.
We work holistically with the young person, their families, Carers and External professions to achieve the best possible outcomes.
