Job Description

Administrative Assistants

Full and part-time opportunities £24,105 rising after 12 months to £26,058 pro rata

Organisational skills. An eye for detail. Real initiative. Many people don’t realise these are the skills we’re looking for. Imagine using your administrative skills to help protect 66 million UK residents from all kinds of potential threats, such as cyber espionage and terrorism.

Join us and you’ll work across a variety of departments, each one offering a range of roles, diverse challenges and direct insight into our fascinating work – everything from tackling cyber espionage to counter terrorism. You could be organising meetings, managing information and records, booking travel, looking after visitors or providing essential support to our officers. Whatever the task, you’ll play a part in ensuring our organisation runs smoothly. In fact, we couldn’t do our work without you.

Whether you join us full or part-time, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to broaden and enhance your administrative skills in a purposeful, rewarding context. You’ll need five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C, or some office experience. But more than that, you’ll want to add value to our busy teams and play an important role in keeping the country safe.

We particularly welcome applications from women and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates.
