Aerodrome Safety forms part of a critical regulatory requirement and is the backbone of a safe airfield operation.
Which is why we are looking for an Aerodrome Compliance Support Manager who will be responsible for managing safeguarding assessments, as well as developing Heathrow’s response and consulting with interested stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing regular reviews of Operational Safety instructions and communicating these to relevant stakeholders.
With good analytical skills, you will manage the Heathrow aerodrome survey requirements to EASA specifications and ensure survey outputs are examined and promulgated. To ensure the safety of Heathrow’s operations, there is a requirement to oversee the implementation and assessments of all drones as per our drone permit process. You will be responsible for the publishing of Heathrow Aerodrome charts & maps as required by regulation; ensuring that the charts & maps satisfy the requirements of aerodrome users. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the completion of risk and safety assessments and carrying out Airside environmental duties to ensure performance against environmental standards are met.
You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills to compose effective and professional safety reports, with specialist knowledge in the field of aerodrome safeguarding. Stakeholder management is also important as positive and productive relationships will help you achieve the role’s objectives and enable you to act as Heathrow’s representative during relevant meetings and consultations.
