What you´ll do
We are seeking a seasoned data and AI professional to own and drive engagement around new AI technologies and projects across AZIT. This will directly support the delivery of AstraZeneca's ambition of putting AI at the heart of 80% of our business processes by 2025. You will be at the centre of how we drive adoption of AI across our company, developing new frameworks and best practices for how we develop and use AI across AZIT.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Enterprise AI Services team, to assist in the engagement, evaluation and implementation of the latest innovation in Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for someone with the relevant experience to drive this vision, enabling AI practitioners across AstraZeneca to deliver AI projects responsibly and ethically. Coordinating the enterprise introduction and adoption of best-of-breed AI technology and tooling will require you to balance technical skills with great communication and program management abilities.
The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on different types of artificial intelligence projects including machine learning, implementing data processing pipelines, but also managing enterprise IT systems and projects. The position will work across our AI groups to evaluate external innovation, as well as enhancing and introducing new technologies and tools to make AstraZeneca successful with AI at enterprise scale.
You will work alongside a global team of AI & machine learning engineers and have the chance to work with technologies that will advance the standard of healthcare improving the lives of millions of patients across the globe. Our team empowers scientists and data scientists all the way from early research to manufacturing to be successful with some of our hardest machine learning challenges. You will ensure that our ML engineers can be productive and work smoothly with the rest of the IT community.
