Ulster University is seeking to appoint external lay members to its governing body – the University Council.

Job Description

As an applicant you will be a senior professional with a significant track record of achievement and a sound understanding of corporate governance. You will apply your experience to benefit the University in key areas such as the Graduate Entry Medical School at our Magee Campus, the expansion of our Belfast Campus and the University’s key involvement in two City Deals campaigns.
We are looking for people with expertise in one or more of: accountancy/audit, estate management, legal, strategic human resources and change management.
The University is also seeking to appoint two external members of the Governance, Nomination and Remuneration Committee (GNRC). The GNRC Committee is a Committee of the Council. It provides independent scrutiny to the operation of a fair, consistent, transparent, and effective system of governance and remuneration in support of the University’s mission.
