Job Description

A diverse and forward thinking charity, we have one of the largest and most successful fundraising teams in the sector, but - with the challenge of supporting the four million people living with cancer by 2030 – it’s essential we further that success and meet challenging fundraising targets to expand our vital work.

Leading a team of four fundraising managers, this role requires someone with a strong strategic mind-set and the ability to translate Macmillan’s UK strategy into a successful fundraising plan for Macmillan in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Somerset, Devon & Cornwall. Can you apply those skills to drive and deliver income through a strong focus on fundraising through companies, events and volunteer networks?

Whether your experience has been gained in the charity or corporate sector, it’s essential you can demonstrate effective performance against financial targets. You’ll be a flexible self-starter and credible leader with the ambition and determination to motivate a team to exceed on targets.

There is substantial requirement for cross-organisational working which proactively draws on skills and knowledge available throughout Macmillan. It’s essential you demonstrate strong networking, team-building and influencing skills to ensure you deliver the greatest value from both new and existing relationships.
