Job Description

The LSE Data and Technology Division is going through a major review in order to prepare for that new strategy and a new leadership team is being built. The new leadership structure, reporting to the Director of Data and Technology, now requires an Assistant Director of Strategy and Partnering. This role will be essential in ensuring that we are delivering the right solutions, securely to our students and academics to enable them to succeed.


This role will be responsible for leading and managing all elements of Technology Strategy. The role will focus on the delivery of architecture and solution designs for all elements of IS Services. The role will be accountable for managing the business relationship for data and technology across the School.


The successful candidate will have highly developed skills in:

  • Understanding strategic drivers and priorities of an organisation
  •  Ensuring teams are focused on the strategic direction of the organisation and understand their contribution
  • Translating business need into technology strategy
  • Building trusted partnerships across diverse customer groups
  • Assessing new technology and identifying solutions that will benefit the School
