he successful candidate will support academics and the EU Funding Managers with the preparation of competitive grant applications, including proposal reviews, costings and all-round administrative support, ensuring applications meet the requirements and priorities of the sponsor and scheme. You will lead the preparation and submission of EU partnering bids and smaller value bids such as Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowships, liaising closely with academics and providing high quality and comprehensive support, from initial enquiries to submission, working under minimal supervision.
The Assistant EU Funding Manager will be an integral part of a centrally based team of research development professionals whose key aim is to increase the University’s research fund portfolio in line with the University’s Research Strategy.
