The Operational Technology team sits within Capability Development in Technology Command. Capability Development leads on specifying, designing, developing, delivering and supporting new technical capabilities (operational, business, back office and corporate) across the agency. Our role is to protect the public from the most serious criminal threats.
Providing administrative support to the business area; successful candidates will prepare documents, coordinating departmental correspondence, minute taking and diary management. This role will also involve maintaining, developing and reviewing the office systems and processes, arranging meetings and travel bookings, and raising purchase orders in support of departmental procurement activities.
The ideal candidate will have IT skills (particularly the use of databases and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel), understanding of relational databases, table structures and data integrity issues and also possess administrative/organisational skills with the ability to multitask. In addition to a general knowledge of administrative practices, interpersonal /customer facing skills and the ability to extract and interpret complex data/ information.
