LSE Advancement engages with alumni and friends, staff and students, volunteers, organisations and the wider community to further the strategic aims of the School and to increase philanthropic income for agreed School priorities. The core areas of Advancement are fundraising, alumni relations and operational systems.
This Associate Director of Leadership Philanthropy role will provide the opportunity to work with the LSE Director, Pro-Directors, and institutional leadership, including relevant members of Council and Court, to secure leadership gifts in support of the School’s strategic priorities.
Candidates should have demonstrable management experience in fundraising with a successful track record in securing seven and eight figure level gifts, and experience of working with and staffing senior institutional leaders and professional / support service staff as part of cultivation and solicitation of high value donor prospects. They should also have experience of working in a large complex organisation and be able to negotiate with multiple decision-makers and stakeholders.
