The Associate ES Test Publisher is on the staff of the Computer Based Testing (CBT) Group. The Associate ES Test Publisher works as a member of the Computer Based Test (CBT) team with Quality Assurance staff, other Test Publishers and team leaders to create and maintain content rich data bases that support Computer Based Tests. The Associate ES Test Publisher builds Computer Based Tests according to program specifications and works on multiple projects simultaneously. This individual plans and completes assigned tasks in accordance with every deadline.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Builds and publishes computer-based exams according to customer specifications using proprietary and general use software tools
  • Edits XML code used in test publishing process
  • Ensures that the exam output matches the exam
  • Maintains documentation of discrepancies between exam performance and specifications
  • Monitors processes for effectiveness and efficiency and recommends modifications

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and document management skills
  • Proficiency with databases, MS Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of relational databases
  • Ability to easily learn technical concepts, new technology and software
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in computer based content management
  • Experience with test publishing a plus
  • Detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Education/Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Applications required
  • Experience in XML and/or HTML scripting
  • Visual Basic or MS Word scripting preferred
  • Project Management and/or Customer Service background
  • Technology industry experience desired
  • Associate degree in Business, Training & Development, Technology or equivalent education and experience.
