Associate Financial Analyst - Operational Finance

Operational Finance

The PFS Operational Finance Team currently supports the UK and US covering the areas of Source to Pay, Order to Cash and Hire to retire. This includes activities such as processing of manual payments, travel and expense administration, payroll reporting, accounts payable support, credit risk and collections.

Types of tasks performed

  • Review and approval of reconciliations performed by the BPO team
  • Monthly KPI reporting
  • Ad hoc payroll reporting
  • Treasury forecasting
  • Accounts Payable project work
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Gathering of evidence for SOX control testing
  • Accruals
  • Bad debt provision
  • Review of customer credit limits
  • Credit control
  • Manual Payments processing

Mandatory skills / capabilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manipulate data and create targeted analysis for stakeholders

Desirable skills / capabilities

  • Experience of working in an accounting function
  • Customer service experience
  • Query resolution experience
  • ERP system experience
