B1.1- Associate- Administrative Coordinator
Background Information:Global Content Solutions team is being established to enable positive changes in performance and stakeholder engagement through a centralized operating model. As content needs continue to proliferate across multiple emerging digital platforms, our team provides the resources to enable scalability and cost containment. We facilitate collaboration between product teams and suppliers who contribute to their products.
Purpose: The purpose of this role is to support the Global Content Solutions team in managing the routine activities like data entry, requesting ISBN and maintaining records in business and vendor facing systems.
Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:
●Request for ISBN (a unique product identifier) for all the planned parent and ancillary educational products
●Handling administrative duties, including routine tasks such as data entry, maintaining records in Pearson business systems
●Work within Pearson business systems to update information so it is accurate and up to date. Bring recurring data inaccuracies to management attention.
●Maintains rapport with stakeholders, managers, and peers by arranging continuing contacts and resolving problem situations.
●Provides information by answering questions and requests.
●Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; discovering irregularities; determining continuing needs.
●May assist Publishing Operations team in timely creation of purchase order and reconciliation of invoices against the issued purchase orders, as needed.
●Enter new product information in Pearson MIS
Core Technical/Functional Competencies:
●Should have good knowledge of working on MS Office
●Should be Internet and computer friendly
●Should have good English communication skills, both oral and written.
Education, Qualifications & Training
●Essential: Candidate should be graduate any discipline.
●Desired: Formal experience in managing business systems and portals is desirable
●Essential: Zero to two years of experience in office systems administration
●Desirable: Prior experience in a publishing company is desirable
