About the job

This apprenticeship is responsible for providing business administrative support for the team developing teaching and learning support and professional development for our BTEC and Apprenticeship offer. The role involves facilitating meetings, communicating with customers and colleagues across the business, working with different teams and supporting various projects in line with strategic objectives

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support for the implementation and smooth running of a number of key projects and work streams, including meeting scheduling, preparation of minutes and associated action trackers
  • Creating, maintaining and monitoring detailed tracking documents across the Teaching & Learning and Professional Development team
  • Capturing, documenting and producing associated reports
  • Uploading of documents to the website
  • Focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience through all tasks, projects and processes
  • To work with colleagues to provide best-in-class customer experience of professional development events (including events on the national programme, network, conferences and online)
  • To be a point of contact with other departments across Pearson as required
  • To engage with the purchase order, invoicing and contracting process
  • To contribute to the continual improvement of how we do things as a department and as a wider business
  • To undertake mandatory training and engage proactively with own continual professional development
  • To undertake any further tasks necessary to deliver key project and demonstrate a flexible approach to the role

Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard– Level 3 (Advanced)

During the Apprenticeship, the post holder will work towards gaining Advanced Level 3 qualifications in Business Administration through work based learning.
