Role Summary:

The Business Operations Analyst/Co-ordinator is a key role within the Business Operation team and has the following major responsibilities:

  • Review and research business processes/systems to identify issues or potential enhancements. Present findings and solutions to business unit
  • Co-ordinate the testing and validation efforts to ensure process/system changes will integrate effectively into the overall business process
  • Work with various groups (e.g., technology developers, managers) to implement solutions that are in line with strategic goals and that specifically improve workflow.
  • Run regular audit checks to ensure processes and systems (mainly relating to order processing and billing) are operating correctly
  • Investigate and propose solutions to any issues identified in the above audits
  • Ensure existing processes are documented and kept up to date

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Provide support on projects changing back office systems and processes to meet new business requirements.
  • Monitor integrity of back office data and provide support in resolving issues.
  • Scheduling of customer subscription renewals.
  • Co-ordinate user acceptance testing for changes to back office systems.
  • Data analysis for sales, marketing and finance.

Key Relationships:

Working closely with the UK Sales, Marketing and Finance management and the management teams of the back office teams in the US.

Desired Skills:

Experience in reviewing business processes and implementing change.
Knowledge and use of reporting from a CRM or financial system would be preferable – ideally or Business Objects.
Experience of producing management information reports
Use of Excel including VLOOKUP
