Job Description

Do you want to work for one of the UK’s biggest charity brands and help improve the lives of people living with cancer?

We are looking for a Business Support Events Coordinator to join a busy events team working across the Policy & Impact directorate. In this role you will be deployed across the four divisions to provide a high level of support for meetings and third party and partnership conferences. You will also work closely with other events teams across the organisation on the development and delivery of some of Macmillan's flagship conferences, including working on exhibition, workshop and delegate management.

This role will support the development of the teams' processes and systems, developing and updating resources and guidance as well as supporting their implementation.

This role requires a team player with a wide range of administration experience, the ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet changing deadlines, and the ability to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong and effective relationships at all levels, and will have demonstrable experience of supporting the delivery of events, conferences and meetings.

In return we offer development opportunities, a friendly and supportive team and excellent benefits including a 34.5 hour week (with early finish on Fridays), private medical insurance, life assurance, pension, generous annual leave, and interest free loans for season ticket and gym membership.

Interviews planned for w/c 29 April.
