We are looking for a Campaign Manager to support the delivery of all aspects of internal and external marketing campaigns, bringing them to life in imaginative and engaging ways. The successful candidate will work closely with local marketing teams and agency partners. Collaboration, partnership and active stakeholder management is foundational to success in this

role. You will be part of a team helping to shape and deliver the overall Pearson brand strategy, while building the global brand community and culture. Thriving in an evolving environment, working to drive innovation, and continuous improvement for efficiency is key.

Main activities / responsibilities:

Supports the development of highly effective marketing campaigns to achieve set local market objectives, ensuring compliance with the overall brand and business strategy.

Ensures the delivery of the campaign through all stages of development, from briefing to creative development, consumer research, approval and media planning/buying.

Creates campaign materials that are accurate, on brand, and which effectively engage

and communicate Pearson’s message to the target audience.

Brings the brand strategy, principles and positioning to life and ensures that it is clearly

and consistently applied across all relevant communications

Ensures insights are accurately reflected in campaign planning – through materials and

media, tone, visuals, messaging, etc

Works with relevant agencies, stakeholders, and colleagues to manage or support campaigns from concept to content development, design, delivery and deployment.

Work with local marketing teams at all stages of campaign to ensure campaign meets their needs, objectives, is fit for purpose, and ultimately obtain their approval.

Ensure all business stakeholders are kept informed at each stage of campaign, and campaign delivery plans remain on track and on budget.

Work with the wider marketing team to analyze campaign performance, provide reports to other teams and optimise future campaigns

Qualifications, experience and personal specification

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role and/or equivalent experience in marketing, campaign management, or communications

Degree (or equivalent) preferred

Channel experience: Digital, social and ideally broadcast channels

Global Management preferred: Experience operating in a global environment and ability to coordinate efforts cross-functionally to achieve positive end results.

Project Execution: Ability to plan, manage, and successfully complete multiple complex projects simultaneously in budget, and ideally within matrix environment.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to use these to influence outcomes by communicating with persuasiveness and an engaging, energetic personality. Ability to appreciate the diversity of stakeholder interactions and adapt style.

Judgement: Ability to demonstrate sound thinking when recommending approaches and assessing business risks.

Creativity: Ability to apply creative thinking and imagination to campaign development, as well as an unrelenting focus on the target audience.

Developing & Leveraging Relationships: A track record of building and sustaining excellent internal and external relationships (at all levels) and gaining credibility to lead functional specialists and partner with/advise business leaders.
