Our Dementia and Huntington’s disease (HD) IPU consists of 7 locked wards for male and female patients from across the UK. Our Dementia service provides cognitive, physical and behavioural management of patients with a progressive neurological condition. Our HD services provide psychiatric, cognitive and motor deficit management of patients. Our therapies and interventions are delivered through a highly skilled multi- disciplinary team consisting of medical, psychology, occupational therapy, social work, physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, physical health and speech and language provision. Adopting an integrated approach to service delivery, we ensure that the care we provide is personalised addressing both mental and physical health conditions
In this role you will be cleaning clinical areas of the hospital such as wards and bathrooms in a medium secure environment within the Men's Medium Secure IPU. You will play a key role in ensuring that levels of cleaning excellence are maintained in both public areas and back of house. You will have high standards of cleanliness naturally and take pride in the work that you do. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to work within our established cleaning team.
Shift hours are flexible between the hours of 7am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday.
You will be someone with high standards of cleanliness who takes real pride in your work. You need to be self-motivated and flexible, with initiative and excellent communication skills.
