The LSE is looking for an experienced Collaboration and Productivity Architect

Job Description

The LSE is a cosmopolitan community in the centre of London focusing on the study of the social sciences. With a centralised delivery model, Data and Technology Services provides information technology and communications services to 15,000 staff and student users.

The LSE is looking for an experienced Collaboration and Productivity Architect to identify, define and drive forward change in our long term approach to:

  • Deployment and use of productivity tools (e.g. Office 365) across the school
  • Collaboration tools, principally Microsoft Teams, but also extending to our future telephony platform
  • Our standard PC and Mac desktops
  • End user devices, such as PCs, Macs, tablets and mobile phones
  • Application deployment

We are looking for someone with great technical knowledge and strong stakeholder engagement skills.  Working closely with the Assistant Director of Strategy and Architecture and key stakeholders across the department and the organisation, this role will drive the development and implementation of architecture practices and process across the School in this area.  The successful candidate will have experience working across most of the areas listed above and will be expert in a number of them.

The Collaboration and Productivity Architect will lead initiatives to improve our approach in these areas.  The department has recently implemented a major change programme and this role is one of the new positions that have been created.  This is an exciting time to join the School’s new architecture team and to build our capability and processes in this area.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
