Our innovative and award-winning law firm is looking to expand our highly regarded Community Care Law department.

Job Description

Our Community Care Law team, led by nationally recognised expert Cate Searle, specialises in Court of Protection litigation, safeguarding adults at risk, mental capacity and Best Interest decision-making, NHS Continuing Healthcare and planning and challenging inadequate health and social care packages

This year we won the Law Society Excellence Award in Business Development Service for our innovative new Services for Professional Deputies, providing case work support in Community Care Law and Employment Law to Private Client and Personal Injury solicitors.

You will be an experienced, enthusiastic lawyer who is passionate about health and social care law and is looking to join a firm whose teams are recognised as leaders in their field.

With at least two years’ experience in Community Care Law issues, you will have handled cases in the majority of our practice areas, specifically working with vulnerable people and their families and ideally dealing with Court of Protection litigation matters.

You may have a health or social care background, which we have found adds value to our community care law casework. You will have strong analytical skills, enjoy problem solving and will have demonstrable experience of applying public law principles to privately funded case work.

Our new case management system and supportive working culture means that we are able to offer this role as full or part-time role and we will also consider flexible working. We are an Equal Opportunities employer and work to Lexcel and Investors in People standards.

We are committed to ongoing professional development and all our employees have access to quality based training and career development in a friendly and team based working environment. We offer the opportunity for everyone to play a key role in our continuing growth and expansion.
