The Connected Sales Representative (CSR) is responsible for representing and selling Pearson’s products and services directly to schools. Working in consultation with their associated Account Executive(s) and regional sales Manager, the CSR will employ multiple and varied approaches to selling, but will rarely be face to face with our customers. The CSR will work the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing and supporting our customers. The CSR will be responsible for handling inbound requests as well as proactively driving outbound campaigns.

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

Completion of a university degree

A minimum of 3 years of Selling and/or teaching experience, in any combination, is preferred.

Minimum travel may be required during peak selling seasons, conferences and for regional and national meetings.

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with particular strength in communicating and selling by phone/ email/ virtual meetings.

Proficient with Excel, Google Docs, Video Conferencing and Social Media. Experience withClearslide and Saleforce an asset.

Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented and strong ability to multi-task.

Self motivated, determined, independent, adaptable problem-solver, who also thrives within a team environment.
