The Construction and Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of retail station maintenance within their assigned geography. Manage portfolio of capital projects and asset replacement programs such as UST systems, dispensers, lighting,
Provide oversight throughout the lifecycle of a project to establish project goals, coordinate resources, regularly monitor progress on site, conduct status meetings/updates and submit all required documentation.
Inspect new installations for conformance to retail site, operational and safety standards.
Make sure that proper financial controls are in place for PAFs, contracting procedures, ensure that design, construction, installation, and documentation of projects meet or exceed all applicable standards and regulations
Oversee repairs to all company owned infrastructure, improvements, and underground storage tank system components and Stage II vapor recovery systems.
Assist in providing engineering review of assets per the Integrity Management standard.
Provide input in capital project development for new facility and equipment installations.
Develop scopes of work and budgets for assigned projects, working with Procurement in bidding and sourcing contracts.
Perform field studies to identify, document, and resolve root cause and system issues. Inspect existing installations for compliance to current codes and standards.
Champion contractor safety performance through regular interface and assessment in the field
Develop annual maintenance budgets, review latest estimates (LE) and manage throughout the year
Provide technical support to the Sales Team and other local personnel.
Work with Technical and Regulatory Authority to improve designs, review costs and/or take advantage of other continuous opportunity initiatives.
Collaborate with Retail Compliance team to meet all applicable Federal and state compliance regulations.
Provide on-site emergency response services as needed and on-call. Work with Retail Compliance team and Remediation Management to coordinate spill and leak response efforts.
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical field preferred
Equivalent technical and project management experience (5+ years), directly related to the planning and execution of facility maintenance and construction projects preferred (required if not degreed)
Excellent communication skills
API 1646 and OSHA 10 Hr. certifications (to be fulfilled upon entry into role if not already completed)
This is a field-based role with the expectation that at least 30-50% of planned activity will be at the retail sites and/or with contractors and vendors within your assigned geography, otherwise, this is a home-based office
Travel outside market – less than 25% outside of this market
