As a DMW consultant you will spend much of your time working on our clients’ sites, often as part of a diverse team, made up of consultants, client staff and a mix of contractors and vendor employees. DMW consultants operate as part of small DMW team working for a senior client manager.

You will gain wide-ranging experience across a variety of project roles including technical delivery and project management, requirements gathering and analysis, data analysis and project support.

As well as delivering large-scale IT and business transformation programmes, our consultants can get involved with a broad range of rewarding activities; from the development of new products and tools, to sponsored sporting events and cake baking in support of our annual chosen charity.

We’re a sociable bunch and we get together regularly for organised and informal events such as canoeing, pub quizzes, mountain biking, weekly runs from the office or drinks and pizza as part of our monthly meeting.

We are looking for ambitious and intellectually curious consultants to join our high performing team.

You will be perceptive, personable, culturally-sensitive and demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence. Being able to work collaboratively is essential.

Much of our client work is in London and the South East however you should expect that from time to time there may be a requirement to travel, work and stay away from home.

You don’t need to already have consulting experience, but you should be able to clearly articulate why you’re interested in a career as a technology consultant, and be prepared to demonstrate the skills below:

Essential skills and experience:

  • Graduate calibre – 2.1 or above (or equivalent) and preferably in a science / maths / engineering based discipline (not essential)
  • Strong analytical skills and numerate
  • A demonstrable interest in technology
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
  • Curious and perceptive
  • Strong moral compass and desire to do the best for your client

Non-essential / preferred skills and experience:

  • 1-2 years’ work experience. (Preferably within management consultancy, information technology, working as part of a project or programme delivery or as part of a graduate programme)
  • Any project-based experience

We will offer the chance to work on some of the largest transformation programmes in the UK, award-winning learning and development opportunities, a highly collaborative working environment and great rates of pay (including base salary of between £30,000 – £50,000, bonus potential and a flexible benefits package including 25 days’ holiday and the ability to flex this to 30 days if you chose to do so).
