We are seeking an enterprising and motivated administrator to provide support to faculty and students within this busy academic department. The Course Administrator will assist in the operational day-to-day functions of the Department’s BSc and premium fee Masters programmes and provide administrative support for a number of courses and faculty members. They will also be responsible for implementation of the Department’s Alumni engagement strategy, involving accurate maintenance of the alumni database, and event organisation.
The role will involve a variety of skills. You will need to have sound organisational and data management skills, an ability to manage a varied workload and a responsive, flexible attitude. You will be required to both follow procedure and also be able to act with initiative. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), excellent written communication and good interpersonal skills will be essential.
