Job Description

CREDIT CONTROLLER

Matrix is an established barristers’ chambers in Gray’s Inn, London with over 90 members and approx. 35 staff, aiming to provide a high quality service to both members and clients.

We have an exciting opportunity to become a valued member of a staff team with a modern, innovative and inclusive approach to delivering a professional service.

The Role

Credit Controller – Permanent part-time or full-time position

Salary of £22k - £24k pro rata (depending on experience)

Closing date: 10th August 2020, 10am

Matrix is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident Credit Controller. 

The successful candidate will ideally be a proactive fees professional with experience of credit control in any industry. However, the role may also suit a highly numerate graduate who would like to begin their career in a fees and finance environment. Organisational and time management skills are essential, as well as an ability to cope well under pressure. The appointed person will have excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail. 

There will be training opportunities for the right candidate if not already familiar with the processes in a barrister organisation. The Credit Controller will work closely with the rest of the Fees and Finance team as well as other staff teams, members, and clients.
