Contract: Full Time-Permanent                         Location: Gloucester                               Salary: £17,500-£20,000 (depending on experience)

Claims Handler: Our Claims Departmennt in Gloucester are looking to bring on board dynamic and customer focused claims handler to join our expanding team.

At Ageas, our Claims departments offer a varied and engaging environment where our colleagues are encouraged to work proactively. Whether you are working within our Motor or Home insurance claims department, you will be involved in different areas of the claims journey. This would first point of contact (FNOL), end to end claims (Household), resolving claims and manage your own caseload (Motor Claims). If you are confident in dealing with customer queries in an accurate and efficient manner and you pride yourself on doing the right thing for customers, then this is the environment for you!

We are looking for resilient, adaptable and passionate individuals who have a confident telephone manner, as you will often be dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders from the Policy Holder through to Lawyers and Witnesses in relation to the claim.

With start dates throughout the year in both our Eastleigh and Gloucester offices, if you have the following knowledge skills and experience then one of our claims department are interested in you!

  • Excellent communicator capable of dealing effectively with all contacts ranging from the general public through to lawyers.
  • The ability to influence and persuade others to your way of thinking.
  • Experienced in multitasking and prioritising your own workload.
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high standard of customer service.
  • Positive attitude and a flexible approach to change and team working.
  • Minimum C Grade in Maths and English - or equivalent.
