We are looking for experienced customer sales and service advisers to join our friendly team in Cardiff.

Job Description

Cardiff – Initially working remote

Multiple vacancies  - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Annual Salary £17,500  + performance related bonus up to £5,400 & benefits

35 hour week and NO Sunday opening!

Despite the current circumstances we are still actively recruiting for roles. In compliance with Welsh Government advice relating to COVID-19, this role may initially be remotely based in line with the rest of our workforce and we will supply you with the tools and technologies to enable you to work in this way. During this phase, interviews will likely be conducted over video conferencing technology, e.g. Google Hangouts or similar.

We will continue to monitor the Welsh Government's advice and the induction training for these roles may take place remotely at your home or in our Cardiff office.

We are no ordinary contact centre, as a not for profit,  we support our members with a huge variety of consumer queries and questions from consumer products to the services we provide. 

About our Commercial Division

We keep Which? independent and self-funded by bringing our advice and revenue-generating lines together to raise income from consumers and businesses. This helps pay our people and running costs, and funds our not for profit work and campaigns for fairer practices. Members Services, Tech support, Legal Services Trusted Traders and the Endorsement scheme are part of our division. 

What will you be doing? 

We are looking for experienced customer sales and service advisers to join our friendly team in Cardiff. 

You will become a key part of our high performing, dynamic and fun environment and will be fully supported in providing exceptional levels of customer service to our members.

We pride ourselves on the quality of conversation we have with our members and you will be integral in ensuring this.

You will: 

Provide a high level of customer service
Deliver against your own and team sales targets and KPI's –  including number of calls and products sold, conversion rates, cross sales and upsells
Personalise your calls in order to explore options with our customers and where possible identifying additional needs that Which? can provide
Respond to incoming requests for cancellation of services whilst exploring reasons for cancellation and alternative options

About You

You'll be experienced in delivering sales or will have an appetite to conduct sales in a contact centre environment, always striving to exceed your targets by identifying opportunities that will benefit our members. You'll have a friendly and confident telephone manner and will not be afraid to engage with customers. You'll strive to go the extra mile in everything you do, always putting our members first.

What we'll give you in return

Competitive salary and bonus plus a generous 28 days holiday pro rata. When we are back in the office we also provide one free healthy breakfast and lunch per week!

Shift Pattern: 35 hour week with shifts between  08.30am - 6.00pm from Mon  - Fri. 

Weekends -  1 in 3 Saturdays from 09.00am -1.00pm, with time off during the week if you
