The LSE is looking for an experienced data architect to transform how we approach and architect data within the School. Working with the Assistant Director of Strategy and Architecture and key stakeholders across the organisation, this role will drive the development and implementation of data architecture. The Data Architect will define principles, model data and advise projects on data. A significant part of the role will be to help define, implement and govern processes for data architecture for the whole organisation.
We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills, good technical data skills and, preferably, experience of defining and creating new data architecture and management processes and policies. This is an exciting time to join the team with a new focus on data and the opportunity to make a significant difference to how we approach data. We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of data architecture and management to make sure that our data structures and approach to data are optimised so that we take the right approach to delivering change and looking at current services.
Experience in the higher education sector may be useful. However, strong data architecture skills and the ability to be a champion for data architecture and management across the School are of primary importance.
The Division is in the middle of a change programme and this role is one of the new positions that have been created.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
