Job Description

The Chief Data Office (CDO) is based within the Data and Digital Technology Directorate. The team is responsible for managing the NCA corporate record and information holdings, whilst ensuring the NCA can confidently identify, discharge and comply with its legal information management responsibilities. The Information Assurance and Risk Management Team works on the frontline of the NCA to ensure that applications, networks and services protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its information. Balancing the needs of operational officers to make the best use of technology, whilst keeping our secrets, secret.

You will have the opportunity to empower programmes and projects in the development and implementation of systems to improve how the agency works operationally through its technology stack. You will be responsible for implementing industry best practice to ensure the organisations information remains secure. There is no average day, but you will work as a team to raise the profile and importance of information management and security. To be considered you will need to successfully complete an SC Enhanced clearance before commencing the role and acheive DV clearance within 12 months.
