Deputy Director of Housing
Could you lead on the strategic housing agenda, delivering strong leadership and effective management to ensure that the Council’s housing portfolio meets the needs of customers, councillors, stakeholders, partners and our communities?
If the answer is yes, then you could be the right person to fill our new Deputy Director of Housing role and lead on all Council Housing matters.
The postholder will provide coherent, strong, strategic leadership, further developing the housing portfolio’s strategic vision through effective engagement and a reputation for getting things done.
We are seeking an exceptional housing professional with significant senior management experience, to undertake the lead role in developing and ensuring the delivery of the council’s housing strategy across all tenures.
To be successful you must be able to provide strategic and operational leadership and have an in depth understanding of housing need, as well as having a strong vision and ideas and an absolute passion to help us achieve our ambitious plans for housing.
