This role is available for full-time only

 

We have exciting opportunities open for six talented and experienced individuals to join our leadership team as Deputy Directors (SCS Pay Band 1). Reporting to the relevant Director, each Deputy Director will be accountable for efficient delivery to our customers.

 

The role owns the operational relationships with suppliers ensuring services and products are delivered, aligned to industry best practice, regulatory and contractual requirements.

  • Head of Disability Benefits
  • Head of DWP Dispute Resolution
  • Pensions Delivery Deputy Director
  • CSA Director
  • Head of Work Capability Assessments
  • Head of Employment and Support Allowance Operations

Whilst you are welcome to indicate a preference for an operational delivery role in your application, we will consider your suitability for all roles and you may be offered a different Deputy Director role than indicated if your application is successful.

 

Whatever role you are appointed to, responsibilities will include:

  • Overall accountability for both the quality and delivery of operations within your area;
  • Responsibility for maximising the performance, capability, motivation and engagement of a workforce of thousands of staff located around 60 sites across the UK;
  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team for the Directorate, role model exceptional leadership, build capability in line with Operational Delivery Professional Standards and undertake regular activity to build and sustain engagement;
  • Leadership of direct reports and teams within your area.
  • Strong effective change leadership; actively and visibly role modelling the values of being inspiring, confident and empowering.
