gyro is the Dentsu Aegis Network B2B specialist agency and represents clients internationally. We are looking for a media leader in our Manchester office.

Job Description

We are looking for someone to help with our full-service proposition working across digital media planning and buying. This is a client facing Account Management role which will see the successful candidate taking the day-to-day lead role with the Philips Healthcare Global Client Group, however, the individual may also be asked to work on other projects and/or clients.

As a result, demonstrating provide knowledge of the healthcare sector, with ideally a focus on B2B/International would be highly desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate should hold excellent client service skills and be ready to act as the right-hand person to the Business Director.  The role will require excellent leadership, managerial and planning skill and critically the successful candidate should support the Business Director in setting the tone for how the account is managed.

The core focus of this role is the Philips Healthcare Global Client Group, however, the individual may also be asked to work on other projects and/or clients. As a result, the individual must have significant demonstrable knowledge of the healthcare sector, with ideally a focus on B2B/International.

Role Responsibility

  • The Account Director is the senior day-to-day lead and should have oversight of all activities and manage the team in delivering against workflow and projects
  • Able to manage client expectations in regards to campaign objectives and the delivery of work
  • Work alongside Business and Strategy Directors to devise a strategic approach
  • A lead role in the the process of strategic media planning/execution and serve as a resource for account manager and executive for advice and counsel
  • Responsible for ensuring that all budgets and campaign plans are aligned with client budget parameters
  • Accountable for media plan output timeliness, accuracy, and overall excellence
  • Understanding of programmatic ecosystem and have the ability to leverage data to pinpoint audiences and nurture prospects along the path to conversion
  • Understand opportunities that various social platforms offer, ideally with the ability to activate in the engagement of business audiences
  • Establish and maintain communications process with clients, offline media teams, creative, etc. for each piece of business within the team
  • Direct the development of client presentations and other important communication, communication that is clear, compelling and persuasive

  • Vast media planning and buying experience 
  • International and B2B is ideal but not a must 
  • Client service experience
  • Understanding of key research sources
  • Proven line management experience
  • Experience in digital marketing and current knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional media
