We are looking for a Digital Performance Analyst to work alongside our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

You'll deliver the analysis and insight on which innovations and improvements to integral government services are built, as we take on a generational transformation in DWP.

You'll develop and communicate the measures, multi-source analytics, and insights to help our leaders and decision makers really understand if what we're doing is working for us, and for the 22 million+ people who use our services every day.

The products we maintain and modernise will be used by nearly every person in the UK, at key moments in their lives. The scale of what we do is extraordinary, and our purpose is unique. We'd love you to join us.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • You can develop and maintain performance frameworks that drive user centric innovations and investments to improve the service.
  • You can iteratively track and measure user behaviour and use data to inform changes and optimise performance.
  • You can guide others on approaches to understand user stories.
  • You can identify and engage with users and stakeholders to collate user needs evidence, and defines research which fits user needs.
  • You have experience introducing innovative analytical solutions to uncover previously unidentified or hard to isolate insights.
  • You can identify and tell actionable stories and provide insights from data to stakeholders and the team, to highlight and inform performance improvements.
  • You have experience of working with other analytical and user-centred design professions such as User Researchers and Interaction Designers.
  • You have experience leading others analysts, can quality assure their analytical work, and can provide guidance on how services can ensure quality of data and analysis.
