Pearson’s Global Digital Channels and Customer Experience team is looking for a Director of Platform/Channel Operations to drive the delivery of global web initiatives and operations to ensure timely and creative execution of quality digital experiences on our flagship eCommerce platform around the world. You will use agile methodologies to drive, prioritize, execute and improve customer experience for our consumers.

Collaboration, partnership and active stakeholder management is foundational to success in this role. Thriving in an evolving environment, working to drive innovation, and continuous improvement for efficiency and sustainable growth is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and coordination of activities among the Experience and Technology groups to ensure objectives are met.
  • Responsible for taking critical projects from original concept through final completion
  • Communicate with all experience, technology project team and other stakeholders to ensure project progression
  • Develop detailed project execution plan and manages all implementation processes
  • Day to day coordination of vendor, agency, and cross-functional relationships
  • Apply, promote and improve the Agile way of working.

Qualifications

Must Have Attributes :

  • Work experience as an Operations or Project Manager or similar role in product management
  • Previous experience with successfulecommerce roll-out projects at enterprise level
  • Strong understanding ofecommerce system architecture
  • In-depth knowledge ofAgile process and principles
  • Competency withchange controls, project life cycles, structured analysis and process methodologies
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Focus on operational excellence and time management
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity withHybris
  • Familiarity withAEM
  • CRM familiarity -Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo & Oracle
