Job Description

This is an unparalleled opportunity to lead on the Government’s most ambitious international campaign ever. 

The Director, GREAT Britain Campaign will lead the Government’s most ambitious international marketing campaign ever, showcasing the very best of what our whole nation has to offer in order to encourage the world to visit, study and do business with the UK. The campaign is active in 144 countries around the world, can count on more than 500 private sector partners and has generated a significant return for the UK economy since its launch in 2011. This role provides an unparalleled opportunity to lead on a campaign vital to the UK’s future prosperity, strategically designed to maximize both immediate and longer-term economic returns for the UK. 

We are looking for an outstanding, senior campaigns, branding and marketing communications leader with a track record of developing and delivering high-impact, large-scale, fully-integrated campaigns at a national or international level. You will bring mastery of key disciplines, from branding and advertising to digital or PR. You will have a strong track record of providing inspiring, strong and visible leadership to a talent and engaged team. You will encourage a culture of creativity, innovation and continuous improvement. With a strong political nous and sound professional judgement, you will have proven ability to navigate complex environments and inspire confidence from a wide range of stakeholders.
