The principle purpose of our Investigation and Supervision team is to make sure solicitors and law firms follow our rules, and investigates when things go wrong. As Director, you will be responsible for the successful leadership of the SRA's investigation and supervision of regulated entities and individuals.
We are looking for someone who can deliver confident and effective leadership and management to a team of c.130, overseeing high volume and sensitive casework. You will be a highly visible leader, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders. You will be central to the implementation of a new casework information system, significantly advancing the SRA’s capability.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader, with a track record of management of large, complex teams, in any sector, including experience of managing high-volume operational processing and/or case-work. You will have proven skill in leading change while maintaining operational effectiveness and excellent customer service. You will also bring extensive experience of successfully building and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
