Job Description

The post holder reports to the Operations Director General, and is a member of the Operations Executive Team. This team works collaboratively, with a shared responsibility for the leadership and management of Operations. 

The post holder has direct accountability for a team of c.150 with 5 direct reports and a budget of £8.5m. They have indirect accountability for leading a number of multi-disciplinary teams through matrix working. 

The post holder has accountability for the overall planning and performance of Operations through establishing the appropriate infrastructure, processes and resources to set and monitor targets, and through providing a challenge function within the Operations Executive team, enabling the Director General to discharge their accountabilities
