Key responsibilities include:
• To manage and supervise a team of disclosure officers responsible for ensuring all allocated investigations are fully compliant with the provisions of Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 and subsequent acts and in accordance with disclosure codes of practice.
• To act as principle disclosure officer on very complex and / or sensitive investigations taking responsibility for the examination and certification of disclosure material gathered in relation to an NCA criminal investigation. To ensure accurate comprehensive schedules are agreed with the SIO(Senior Investigations Officer), CPS and prosecution counsel.
• To negotiate agree and implement disclosure strategies with senior managers, SIOs, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and prosecution counsel, allocating resources to ensure compliance with judicial timescales.

Significant experience in the use of case management systems, including data management and analytical tools.
Experience of investigative techniques and legislation including the Criminal Procedure & Investigation Act 1996 as amended by The Criminal Justice Act 2003, the Attorney General's Guidelines, the Codes of Practice 2005, Regulation Of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA), European Court Of Human Rights (ECHR) and its application of this within criminal justice proceedings.
Proven recent experience of undertaking the disclosure role in criminal, civil or regulatory investigations on complex economic or criminal cases.
Recent experience and high level of understanding of complex/protracted criminal justice investigations including service of case file material, exhibits and unused material.
You will also have the below qualifications or experience:#
Formal Training undertaken in Disclosure.
Proven experience of managing staff
PIP 2 Accredited.

Will require DV Enhanced to be obtained within 12 months of entry. If DV Enhanced cannot be obtained the officer will be required to move to a non-DV role.
