Job Description

If you’ve got an inclination for order, an eye for detail, and are comfortable shifting between print publications and digital content management, we can offer you a challenging role within a high-performing team working to reach and improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Our team supports the delivery of information online and in print, while working to improve internal reuse of content. You’ll be involved with the development, migration and restructuring of large quantities of cancer information content within, to and from our CMS. You will work closely with our Information Development team to ensure clarity and consistency of language and clinical and factual accuracy, and with our Digital Media team to optimise material for online delivery.

What do we need you to bring to the role?
We are looking for hands-on digital editorial experience. Ideally that experience will include some involvement in the development of health or other publicly focused information. It is essential that you are accomplished in dealing with content issues as they relate to both print and web materials. You must also evidence the planning and organisational ability to manage multiple workstreams to deadline, and you need to be attentive to detail and mindful of processes.

Basic skills in HTML/XML would be advantageous, as would experience with a component-based content management system, and familiarity with Adobe InDesign.

In return we commit to actively developing you. Our benefits include private medical insurance, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, and generous annual leave.
