Through the support and advocacy of our members, specifically those within the various faculties, societies, boards and committees we are able to ensure that our activities remain relevant and reflect the needs of our members whilst at the same time serving the demands of the public.

ELC is responsible for ensuring the relevance, accessibility and quality of the CII’s learning and assessment products whilst maintaining processes which are transparent, fair to candidates and compliant with its regulators’ requirements.

The CII believes that Board and Committee members should come from all walks of life, reflecting society, to help them understand people's needs and make better decisions. This is why we encourage a wide and diverse range of individuals to apply for this position.
Membership of the ELC is voluntary; reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. The duration of appointment for both positions shall be for a term of up to three years, which may be extended, subject to Board approval, for one further three-year term.
