Reporting to the VP, Information Security and CISO Business Operations & Delivery, this senior delivery role is responsible for ensuring CISO Enterprise Security Projects are delivered effectively (dotted line responsibility to Head of CISO as a Service Transformation for Delivery Excellence Objectives and Performance) . The individual will bring a high level of business acumen with an ability to build strong, trusted relationships across Security Operations, Security Engineering and Architecture and TechOps. They must know how to work with a cross-functional, multi-location teams, becoming a trusted business delivery partner. Moreover, they understand how to deliver outcomes in complex, matrix environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end to end delivery ownership of Enterprise Security projects and initiatives, engaging proactively across departmental and company wide regional/line of business boundaries through active leadership and engagement.
  • Delivery business partner for CISO Security Operations, and Security Engineering and Architecture. Demonstrating strong business acumen skills in supporting the successful execution of CISO service delivery projects and team initiatives on behalf of their VPs.
  • Responsible for day to day Enterprise Security delivery excellence, working closely with the Head of CISO as a Service Transformation on a day to day basis to meet value and excellence goals, and objectives.
  • Enterprise Security business partner for Tech Ops portfolio management and dependencies on joint Tech Ops and CISO projects or where there are cross functional dependencies.
  • Ensuring effective and timely communications with appropriate stakeholders in terms of delivery objectives, timescales and dependencies etc.
  • Maintain control of project level resource, utilisation and deployment costs and manage the budget accordingly (includes related scope control).

Specific Work Experience

  • Experience of managing large complex security and software development projects for global organisations.
  • Experience defining business cases and projects; Project budgets upwards of $5m .
  • Significant experience on Agile development and Continuous Integration Continuous Development (CICD).
  • Has hands on and effective experience as a project management with large organisations
  • Hands on experience as a Scrum Master preferably with large organisations.
  • Experience of implementing security change initiatives based on business and operational requirements.
  • Experience of working & coordinating with global teams on many time zones.
  • Financial acumen - forecasting spend & resource changes and leading through those changes.
  • Proven ability to achieve results by influencing people on a Matrix organization.
  • Jira and other Agile tools’s knowledge

Typical characteristics:

  • Ability to work on Agile projects, running sprints, scrum meetings, track burn down charts, %C/A metrics. Drives out dependency and flow blockers.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives at any given time, track and report multiple initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to build close business relationships with all levels of management.
  • Able to proactively identify risk and opportunities to simplify and automation processes to ensure focus on value add work.
  • Excellence communications and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical and operation academic grounding coupled with sound experience.
  • Certified Agilist.
  • Information Security Certification.
