Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Manager

Salary from £43,907 to £50,835 pa with potential to progress to £57,161 inclusive of London allowance

This role sits within the Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Office responsible for ensuring compliance with equalities legislation and the School’s own policies, procedures and processes. The team advises on best practice, as well as mainstreaming equality and inclusiveness throughout all practices and functions.

The post holder will be a key member of the EDI strategic and operational team, contributing to and leading on EDI projects and policy work with a focus on delivery and achieving clearly identified outcomes. This role will include developing and implementing proposals, papers and briefings for strategic School bodies and senior managers and will be responsible for specific project work in order to further promote the School’s inclusion agenda. The post holder will report to the Head of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Candidates should have skills and experience in project management, data analysis, benchmarking (a working understanding of SWAN, Race Equality Charter and other external accreditation schemes would be beneficial) and impact assessments. Demonstrable expertise in taking forward initiatives in response to policy, qualitative/quantitative data and consultation/engagement is required. The ability to engage with a wide range of colleagues at all levels, manage a varied workload, work flexibly with accountability, and maintain confidentiality are essential.
