We are looking for an Events Manager (secondment cover) responsible for the project management, administration and delivery of key LSE Careers events including careers conferences, fairs, panels and presentations both in the UK and globally.

Job Description

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 9 months

 

LSE Careers is dedicated to supporting LSE’s students and alumni in every aspect of career choice and development. To this end we provide an extensive programme of workshops, seminars and individual support and work with thousands of employers across the UK and globally, to equip students and alumni with the skills to flourish during their time at the university and after.

 

We are looking for an Events Manager (secondment cover) responsible for the project management, administration and delivery of key LSE Careers events including careers conferences, fairs, panels and presentations both in the UK and globally. Alongside this, you will provide expert advice and support to LSE Careers staff involved in running events, facilitating the development and delivery of these to a consistently high standard. The post-holder will ensure the provision of effective and coordinated annual and long term event programmes in line with the LSE Careers strategy, which meet the needs and expectations of the diverse LSE community and deliver high quality and impact.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multifunctional Student Experience and Operations team who ensure that students and alumni are able to access the services and resources they require and that their experience of engaging with LSE Careers is a positive one. You will be an individual who is passionate about the student experience and focused on placing this at the heart of your work.

 

This role will be considered as a secondment opportunity to enable existing employees to broaden their knowledge, experience and skills by transferring to a different team/department.
